Interreg Circular Waste Management series

On 27 January, Interreg Europe's Policy Learning Platform is hosting 'Circular waste management l: meeting the biowaste challenge' the first of four episodes of its circular waste management series. The episode will be held from 14:00 to 17:00 CET, in the format of an online workshop.
The workshop will provide an outlook on EU initiatives that local and regional authorities should refer to for boosting their biowaste collection, prevention and recycling rates in compliance with the EU Directives and to the benefit of a local circular economy. Keynote speakers will be Jean-Benoit Bel (ACR+) and Mieke Decorte (European Biogas Association). They will be followed by two breakout sessions, focusing respectively on biogas and composting. The closing session on 'Financial support for circular biowaste treatment' will be led by by Mattia Pellegrini(DG ENV). The full programme can be found here.
To register, click here. When registering, participants will be given the opportunity to request an online expert helpdesk with an Interreg Europe expert. This will take place at the end of the event and last 10 minutes.
