CityLoops establishes Collaborative Learning Network in Denmark

As part of CityLoops' replication activities, partners from the Copenhagen cluster have established a Collaborative Learning Network, aimed at scaling up innovations developed and implemented in both Roskilde and Høje-Taastrup at regional level.

The network is led by Gate21 and currently has 25 participating municipalities from The Capital Region of Denmark and Region Zealand in Denmark, and from Region Skåne and Region Halland in Sweden. It focuses on the exchange of experiences between municipalities and the development of competence within circular construction, with an emphasis on communicating the results and experiences from the CityLoops project and introducing the developed tools, so the municipalities can start to use them.

The network is planning to have 4 workshops during 2021-2022, with perhaps two more in 2023. All the workshops will have different themes related to different aspects of working with circular construction as a municipality. The first workshop took place on September 2nd with 45 participants from 24 different municipalities.

The first workshop focused on circular procurement and on how tenders can be used to promote circular solutions in construction. Roskilde notably highlighted the municipality's experiences with tenders in the CityLoops project, and how they work with circular construction.
