Circular Economy Day
26 Apr 2023, 10:00-16:30
- Château de Wiltz
The Municipality of Wiltz, in its role as municipal hotspot for the circular economy in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is organising its 5th "Circular Economy Day" In 2023, this event, co-organized with Infogreen.lu, and the In4Green partner network, will bring together in one place and on one date all the people involved in the transition to the circular economy at the national level. The main focus of the conference will be urban metabolism.
This day will be a great opportunity to meet experts in the field of the circular economy, representatives of municipalities and the state, but also professionals from various sectors (construction, industry, crafts, services, etc.). Participants can attend inspiring conferences stimulating participatory workshops, visit projects, and take advantage of numerous networking opportunities. It is therefore a unique opportunity to share ideas and connect with people who are committed to a circular Luxembourg.
In order to engage a territory in a transition to the circular economy, it is important to have a holistic vision of this territory. It is in this context that the urban metabolism takes on its full meaning. This complex concept which describes the interactions between cities and their environment makes it possible to visualize a city as a whole in the form of a dynamic system composed of all the incoming, stored and outgoing resource flows.
