Apply for €22,000 to set up a local circularity hub
12 Jan 2023
Do you want to support circular business innovation while receiving €22,000 in funding to do so? The European project SHARED GREEN DEAL is offering local partners support to establish Local Accelerator Hubs (LAHs) that will gather and share knowledge about good practices in sustainable and circular business models to support innovation in local businesses and nudge the introduction of circular economy concepts.
Local authorities and not-for-profit organisations have the opportunity to apply for €22 000 to become local partners of the European project SHARED GREEN DEAL on the topic of Circular Economy. A total of 24 organisations are awarded funding across six topics, with 4 local partners funded on Circular Economy.
In the Circular Economy Stream, partners will identify local needs and challenges, and co-create solutions. The experiment will organise a series of workshops and a local circular award event to reward the best solutions of the local businesses registered in the Local Accelerator Hub using business innovation to optimise waste prevention and elimination, and increase the use of circular strategies for new products and services.
SHARED GREEN DEAL, a project benefitting from expertise in Humanities and Social Science, will provide financial support of up to €22 000 to run each local social experiment for one year from spring/summer 2023. In addition to funding, an additional training event with SHARED GREEN DEAL partners in Cyprus, and a study visit to another local partner, is covered by the project.
The experiments have specific objectives according to each of the six streams covered and the deadline to apply is January 31.
The opportunity is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme.
